I visited the Wilt St. construction site to document its progress 3 times in the month of April. Construction on the site started in late March and will continue through the summer and into the fall. According to Project Director Troy Hannigan, the completion date of the project is in September of 2012. In just under two weeks the Habitat construction crew, headed up by Director of Construction Rick Powell, was able to go from foundation to two stories. The walls of the house were built in the Habitat Warehouse located just down the street from the construction site and were quickly inserted, giving the house a structure.
